Image Resizer Seems To Randomly Crash When Importing Large Images

For many versions now when we load large images (jpg direct from DSLR) 10mb or larger in size directly into the coin image slots the converter seems to randomly crash. Sometimes you can do 20,30 images before the problem occurs. Other times you can do 2 or 3 images and then the problem occurs, OpenNumismat continues to function but we are unable to load any additional images until we close the program and re-open it. This problem doesn't seem to occur with smaller images. It does seem to be the image resizer crashing on large images over 10mb.
